So this week is Washington City's celebration called Cotton Days. We watched fire works on Monday that were really awesome. There were 3 times that I thought it was the finale and then it just kept going. Today we took Teancum and Parker to Washington Park where they were having a bunch of different displays of old tractors, a military band organ, a magic show, old muskets, the first generators and other cool stuff. Each display had someone there to teach the kids about it and show them how cool each item was. Each one also had some fun interactive part so the kids would have fun and learning together. Then at the end we bought some home made icecream that was being sold there. It was very yummy and the icecream churners were 3 times the size of a normal one and they were run by an old generator. The whole thing was pretty cool. I don't have any pics sorry my camera was dead. Lame I know. Saturday is the parade so I'll make sure to get some pictures of that.
